Thursday, April 8th, 2010It’s sharing those private moments with a bride while doing her makeup before she walks down the aisle that makes my job so rewarding. I felt an instant connection with Amy. She was such an organized bride and a pleasure to work with. I wanted to make sure she looked her absolute best for her big day…and she did! Congratulations to Amy and Jim. Thank you for letting me be apart of this special time in your lives.
Bridal Shoot
Saturday, April 3rd, 2010Last month I was asked to be a vender by offering my makeup services for a bridal fashion shoot. Here is a sneak peek of a few photos from the session photographed by Jax Creations Photography. Thank you Jackie for including me on such a fun shoot! The flowers and bouquet were provided by Nicolel at Petal Talk. These ladies do fabulous work! I also want to give a big thanks to Rosalie, the owner of Storybook Bridal in Coeur d’Alene. She was gracious to loan us a dress for the afternoon and provide a location to get ready. Her shop is quite darling so check it out!
Meet the “Wedding Can” Couple!
Thursday, April 1st, 2010
Check out how a couple from Spokane, WA is paying for their wedding by recycling aluminum cans. Both setting a green example, and coming together in love, Andrea and Pete are an interesting couple with more than a wedding on their minds. I got the opportunity to be the makeup artist on set for the video filming of their satellite interviews, which were featured on a variety of radio and TV stations around the nation. It was a pleasure working with such a fun and unique couple. What a clever idea they came up with too! Please visit their website: www.weddingcans.com for more information and how you might be able to help with reach their goal of collecting over 400,000 aluminum cans!
